Embracing Solitude

In the midst of numerous nostalgic thoughts,

Aspiring to turn inwards and look deep within,

Leaving behind those fond memories,

Shattering those innumerable inhibitions,

Moving towards that eerie sound of silence,

Scared, hesitating, I took a step ahead,

And then another, and then one more.

Once I entered that realm of divine,

I discovered a freedom that came from within.

Of the kind I had never felt before,

And I stood there, embracing solitude.

Solitude, that united me with the whole creation around.

Adoring that newly found companion within,

I was brimming with bliss that would stay forever.
